The Telegraph needed to position itself at the forefront of technology to attract potential tech advertisers. We got our black mirror juices flowing and created a design fiction video about the future of smart-home-tech for them. The rest of the campaign included a daily moment of tech-related content on Instagram, around 4 o'clock with the hashtag #techfortea. Apart from that, we also created a sticker sheet to personalise your Alexa with that they could add to their paper editions. And finally, we won them over with our live activations: a pop-up theatre in several Westfields, showing a mock-trial of a mother who left her kid with the smart speaker and is thus accused of child neglect. The Telegraph liked out pitch so much that they invited our team to come and pitch again at their headquarters for about 30 colleagues.
